Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making LifeOrion's website usable by everyone, the standard we measure against, and what is still outstanding.

Accessibility statement, last reviewed 15 September 2026. LifeOrion aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This site is partially conformant: most of the standard is met, and the known exceptions are listed below.

What is in place: landmarks and a skip link on every page, visible focus indicators, keyboard operation of the navigation, menus, language switcher, theme toggle and forms, text and interface contrast checked in light and dark themes, content that reflows at 320 CSS pixels, and respect for the reduced-motion preference.

Known exceptions: decorative background motion has no pause control other than your device's reduced-motion setting, and the social-preview images can break Chinese and Japanese text in unexpected places. Neither affects reading or operating the site.

How we test: automated contrast and structure checks (axe-core) and scripted keyboard tests on key pages, plus manual keyboard review. We have not yet completed a full audit with screen readers, so some issues may remain.
